Cancer Support Community’s annual walk  – new name for 2013 -  STEPS FOR HOPE, same great event. 

1 mile or 3.7 mile walk and 3.7 mile fun run (untimed run) to support Cancer Support Community!

We are about community.

We are about friendship.

We are about hope.

The event will continue to be represented as a day to celebrate survivors and honor and remember loved ones.   STEPS FOR HOPE depicts the steps you will take with us on May 18^th and the steps that individuals and families take.   

It is a day to celebrate cancer survivors, honor loved ones who are on their journey to wellness as well as honor the memories of loved ones lost.   It is also a day to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Support Community’s FREE programs and services for people in our community who are impacted by cancer.   

Invite your family, friends and coworkers to take their own STEPS FOR HOPE and help make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer.  Come for the walk, stay for the community. Our 15^th Anniversary of the Cancer Survivorship Walk event called STEPS FOR HOPE takes place Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Creve Coeur Park.

ART of HOPE, the new name of Celebration of Hope, is Cancer Support Community’s signature fundraising gala. This event has grown to become a premier fundraising event in St. Louis, and has raised more than $2 million for Cancer Support Community.   Since 2003, Celebration of Hope has hosted the Marsha Wolff & Tina Borchert Inspiration Awards. Named in honor of the founders of Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis, these awards recognize individuals, companies, foundations and organizations in our community who have made a profound difference in the lives of people living with cancer.  Thank you to all of our 2012 Celebration of Hope sponsors!
