The Remshardt Legacy Circle is a group of friends of Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis who recognizes the importance of Cancer Support Community’s mission for future generations. 

 

It was established to recognize and honor those individuals (and couples) who have made arrangements for future philanthropic support of Cancer Support Community. Membership into the Remshardt Legacy Circle signifies that you have named Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis in a bequest or trust, or a life income gift (such as a charitable remainder trust), or a beneficiary of life insurance, pension plan or IRA or other form of deferred gift. 

 

Our Legacy Circle is named after Tony and Leta Remshardt. When Tony’s wife, Leta, was diagnosed with cancer many years ago, he called Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis seeking help for her and his family. Cancer Support Community was able to help him over the phone and Leta was able to participate in some of our programs. After both of their passing, Cancer Support Community learned that they had left a bequest in their will to the organization. It was the largest bequest ever made to Cancer Support Community.   This generous act of kindness will be remembered for years to come. It also provides us with the opportunity to remind everyone how important bequests and other planned gifts are to Cancer Support Community. Please remember Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis in your estate plans and continue to support our important programs as a member of the Remshardt Legacy Circle.
